Its was like summer again out there. Unbelievable it was still windy and
not a cloud in the sky in november!!
Sailed West of Hove from 11:30 til 2pm. Rigged 4.5m and just blasted off
the beach once the shorebreak had backed down a bit. Just me and Tim and
Will at that point. Waves were still in the ehad high range and lining up
for decent rides, albeit a bit fat and slow! After half hour the swell
eased with the wind, but it was still fun enough. Thankfully it picked up
again before I de-rigged and I got back out there. Moved upwind to H**
P***s to seek out the others, and it was much peakier wave for a good
downwind carve. Just off the end of the big concrete groynes seemed to
suit me and well away from the surfers. Amazing session in the sun with
yer mates and waves with plumes of spray whipping off the crests.
